I am passionate about many things in this life. At the top of the list is creating spaces that bring people together and offer a sense of belonging. I believe that access to such environments nurtures within each of us a greater capacity for kindness and connection.

In November 2025, I began an experiment (with the support and help of my amazing family, of course) and called it Sol Tide Community Sauna-House.

The Sol Tide experiment set out to explore the following: Would anyone want to come to some random lady's backyard (that's me), strip down to almost nothing with a bunch of strangers, sweat like a pig, dip into freezing water while attempting not to scream, then hopefully come back again for more "fun" at a later date?

Wild as it sounds, you came, brought your friends, and came back again. THANK YOU!

Now it's time to find Sol Tide a more permanent home. While I focus my energy on where that will be, I will pause regular sessions for the summer months. Keep an eye out for pop-up events here and there.
